What am I currently obsessed with? Knitting. I taught myself to knit years ago when I was living in Germany. Knitters were everywhere. I saw German women knitting on trains and waiting at bus stops. I learned that knitting was taught in schools. Well, I checked out a how-to-knit book, and taught myself to knit. When I returned to Arizona, I didn't see any reason to knit wool scarves. (That was the extent of my knitting skills at the time.) I put my knitting away, and didn't pick it back up until my daughter was three years old, some ten years later.

Now, I knit everything. Felted purses, knitted purses, an occasional scarf, sweaters, tank tops and more. Currently, I am working on a black and silver purse, a blue and teal purse, and have just started a striped tank for Little O. By the way, speaking of Little O, when she saw this book at our LYS, her first words to me were, "How do dogs knit??"
